ACT by Monday to Protect Charlotte!

This is one of the saddest Springtime walks I have ever taken because, just as life was blooming in the McAlpine Greenway, it was being suffocated in the streams by construction waste.  AND IT WAS LEGAL!

The developers are currently able to pay a fee in lieu of stormwater mitigation and this is an option that is often taken in low income and rural neighborhoods.

This has got to stop!

Please call your representative by 5pm Monday Oct 27 and tell them to VOTE NO on extending the fee in lieu option for developers. Every community deserves to have spring.
